We’re back with the 2nd instalment of the Barbershop Trilogy in collaboration with Warwick Anti-Racism Society💈‼️ This week we will focus on:
How black men deal with health issues, specifically mental, physical and sexual health. We will be navigating sensitive issues to do with mental health, challenges within education, body image, sexual violence and consent.
We have taken on board all the feedback from the first event of the series and we have restructured the event. We hope by doing so we have created a safer space for Black men to share their experiences and thoughts on the issues that affect them the most.
Barbershop is a space for learning and sharing - we must be sensitive and respectful to the contributions of others.
Thank you all for coming and making the first event so great. We hope to see as many of you again this week.
Come along to share your perspective and let’s listen to what Black men have to say!
