    Description

    Entry requirements:

    • You’ll need to be expecting or have achieved a 2:1
    • You’ll need at least 120 UCAS points from three A-levels or equivalent (excluding General Studies) using
    • the 2017 UCAS Tariff System
    • This programme is designed for those with less than two years relevant work experience
    • You don’t need an Economics degree. The programme is open to applicants from all disciplines

     

    What will you learn?
    In your day to day, you’ll gather and analyse information and take part in meetings with colleagues and external stakeholders. It will help you to get the experience and develop the skills you need to become an expert analyst.

     

    We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment. We will give you a comprehensive induction to the Bank and organise talks and networking events. And with all of the other people on the graduate scheme, it will be fun and sociable too.

    Where will you work?
    You have to apply for one of the following areas:

     

    Operations

    This is our generalist scheme, which is open to graduates from any degree discipline. You’ll have access to opportunities in many areas such as Banking, Markets, Notes and Human Resources.

     

    Economist

    If you’re doing an undergraduate degree in economics or finance, this is for you.

     

    Risk

    We will help you develop technical expertise in areas such as stress-testing, the Help to Buy scheme or wider market risks.

     

    Data

    If you study a quantitative degree such as maths or engineering, this is for you. You’ll collect, compile and analyse data for publication.

     

    Technology 

    Interested in technology? You don’t need a degree in Computer Science to work with us. Based on your interest and skills, you can work in areas such as developing, infrastructure, service management or IT security.

     

    Supervision

    You can have any degree to become a supervisor. Your role would involve supervising financial institutions such as insurance companies, banks and building societies.

     

    Postgraduate 

    If you’re doing a Master’s degree in Economics or Finance, this is for you. You will work in a research-focused area such as Monetary Analysis, International or Markets.
