We understand that everyone has something distinct to offer and it’s this diversity that makes us stronger. We look for future leaders who can bring a diversity of strengths, and who are innovators, creative thinkers, data and digital disruptors.
If you want to be all of these things too, you’ll find our three year Graduate Programme is tailored to your strengths and realising your individual potential through hands on working and learning opportunities, giving you an insight into the depth and breadth of various teams across the UK business.
On top of all that, you can look forward to all the career-building experience that comes with being part of a business employing 50,000 people in 170 countries. We’re also one that is focused on caring for our customers, helping them protect the people, places and things they love.
What’s in it for you: £31,000 starting salary + excellent lifestyle benefits which include 25 days holiday plus an additional 3 volunteering days, discounted gym membership, discounted gadget insurance, full private medical cover, discounted technology offers, 12% pension and much more.
What can I look forward to?
As an Actuarial graduate you’ll play a pivotal role in our business working alongside some of the most qualified actuaries and analysts in the industry. You’ll learn how to analyse data, assess risks and build models that will drive intelligent decision-making. And you’ll spend time with senior figures that will help to advise on and develop your career.
Over three years, you may get to experience working in a number of our UK offices. But no matter what office you’re in, you’ll be learning from some of our most talented colleagues, all of whom are eager to inspire and guide you to be your best. You can also look forward to a comprehensive support and study programme and what’s more, your achievements will be rewarded with regular reviews and pay increases. You may even have the opportunity to work abroad – we are a global company after all!
What you’ll need:
· A 2:1 degree (predicted or achieved) in any undergraduate discipline
· At least 112 UCAS points – BBC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects excluding general studies
· A-C grade in Maths and English GCSE
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills
In return, and as well as the rewards listed above, you’ll be joining a business where we know that difference comes from the inside out. We are genuine and transparent in how we help our customers to protect the things they truly love, and we value diversity as something that makes us stronger and sets us apart. In fact, it’s what makes all the difference.
